Stainless steel containers and storage tanks

A storage tank is a device used to store various liquids or gases. They are applied in industrial, agricultural, commercial, and civilian fields for storing crude oil, petroleum products, chemicals, liquefied gases, water, food, and other liquid or gaseous substances. Usually made of corrosion-resistant materials such as steel, fiberglass (FRP), concrete, or plastic. They have different shapes and sizes, and can be cylindrical, conical, spherical, or other shapes depending on the characteristics and capacity requirements of the stored material.

Product introduction

A storage tank is a device used to store various liquids or gases. They are applied in industrial, agricultural, commercial, and civilian fields for storing crude oil, petroleum products, chemicals, liquefied gases, water, food, and other liquid or gaseous substances. Usually made of corrosion-resistant materials such as steel, fiberglass (FRP), concrete, or plastic. They have different shapes and sizes, and can be cylindrical, conical, spherical, or other shapes depending on the characteristics and capacity requirements of the stored material.

Operational principle

The working principle of storage tanks is basically designed and operated based on the characteristics and physical principles of liquids or gases.
1. Storage of liquids: Liquids enter the interior of storage tanks through pipelines or other means, filling the volume space of the tank.
2. Liquid level control: Tanks are usually equipped with liquid level sensors to monitor the liquid level height. When the liquid level reaches the preset value, the feed valve closes and the liquid injection stops.
3. Pressure balance: The liquid in the storage tank will generate a certain amount of pressure. To ensure the safe operation of storage tanks, pressure sensors and safety valves are usually installed to control and regulate the pressure inside the tank.
4. Liquid extraction: When stored liquid is needed, it can be extracted from the storage tank through pipelines or pumps. Usually, there are outlets and valves at the bottom of the storage tank to control the flow of liquid.

Product features

Tank products have the characteristics of large capacity, multiple material choices, corrosion resistance, safety design, reliability and durability, and environmental performance. Suitable tank types and specifications can be selected according to different application needs.

Applicable scope

The petroleum and petrochemical industry; Chemical industry; Water treatment and environmental protection industry; Power generation and energy industry; The metallurgical and mining industries can also be applied in fields such as medicine, construction, agriculture, aerospace, etc. to meet the needs of different industries for liquid or gas storage.
